TRACE
700/800
If total sulfur analysis is the name of your game, the
Trace 700/800 series analyzers are what you need. There are a multitude
of added features associated with total sulfur detection; find the combination
that is right for you and fill out the online quote form to get a price.
SAMPLE INJECTION CONTROL
The difference between the 700 and 800 series analyzers
is this device. The 800 series analyzers use micro liter injection valves
to inject an exact amount of sample into the carrier gas stream. The injected
volume and rate of injection are selected to meet the requirements for the
stream being monitored.
TOTAL SULFUR ANALYSIS
The outstanding characteristics of the Trace Technology
hydrogen sulfide detector can be utilized for total sulfur measurement by
means of converting all of the sulfur in a sample to hydrogen sulfide. The
sample is blended with an excess of hydrogen and the blend passes through
a heated quartz or ceramic tube. In doing so, the sulfur bonds are broken
and hydrogen sulfide is formed. The outlet is connected to the Trace Tape
hydrogen sulfide analyzer, resulting in an analyzer which is totally sulfur
specific.
REDUCING FURNACE
The Trace Technology total sulfur instrumentation combines
unique design and performance features with the basic reducing furnace.
The structure combines concentric tubes that are used in the reducing process.
The sample is injected through the center tube into an oxidizing tube where
the carbon compounds are oxidized to sulfur dioxide. The oxidized compounds
then reverse flow into the reducing tube with an excess of hydrogen. The
process of reducing the SO2 to H2S is further enhanced by oxidation and
flow contact with the catalyst. This combination eliminates carbon-carbon
bonding which can cause increased system maintenance.
LIQUIDS REMOVAL SYSTEM
In addition to measuring H2S in hydrocarbon liquids, the Trace Series of instruments can reduce
costs when abatement chemicals are used. In applications where chemicals
are added to liquids to control H2S
emissions, excessive margins can be reduced enabling the reduction of operating
costs.
DIAGNOSTIC ALARM
The alarm provides contact output to alert operations in
the event of one of the following fault conditions:
- Out of tape
- Motor failure
- Optical system failure
- Auto Calibration failure
SMARTALK
SMARTalk provides complete remote operation via personal
computer or host with true bidirectional communication. The operator does
not have to travel to the measurement site to alter operation, initiate
calibration, or view data. Controls, reports, and data are available at
lab or office via a personal computer link. Remote access reduces the chance
of "no fault found" service calls where on site trips find no
fault with the equipment.
LCD GRAPH DISPLAY
The display is a paperless chart recording of the concentration
with selectable time scale to make comparisons and graphically display operating
trends over time.
CABINET HEATER
A heater with thermostat control is integrated into the
cabinet which provides freeze protection throughout the cold winter months.
This will prevent the humidifier solution from freezing in sub zero temperatures
causing the unit to malfunction. This will drop the lowest allowable operating
temperature 15°C to -10°C.
VAPORIZING REGULATOR
The vaporizing regulators vaporize a liquid into a gas
then perform a single stage pressure reduction on the gas. Pressure drops
through pressure regulators may cause cooling which allows liquid to form.
The vaporizing regulator puts heat back into the flow media to insure that
is stays a gas.
CHART RECORDERS
A hard copy record of 4-20mA output is available in:
- General Purpose / Division II
- Division I
CAL TAP
The calibration tap point includes the connection fittings
and tubing together with a three-way ball valve to easily connect calibration
gas to the analyzer. |

CABINET STAND
The cabinet stand is a pipe stand with mounting holes for
outdoor and indoor use.
TRACERASE
TRACErase uses technology based on a catalytic combustion
process to oxidize vented samples thus preventing fugitive emissions from
entering the atmosphere without causing back pressure on the analyser. Packaged
to provide explosion proof protection, this unit may be used in hazardous
locations.
MULTI-STREAM
This option allows the analyzer to select and analyze more
than one sample source. This is ideal for any situation where more than
one sample source is present.
CORROSION PROOFING
Using stainless steel instead of galvanized steel in the
construction of the wiring conduits will reduce the risk of corrosion of
the instrument; all of the conduits in the analyzer are replaced with their
stainless steel counterparts.
AUTO CALIBRATION
The auto calibration provides software algorithm, contact
outputs, solenoid valves, tubing, and customer connections for automatically
calibrating analyzer at pre-selected time intervals.
REMOTE DISPLAY AND ALARM
This option uses the 4-20 output from the analyzer to generate
a digital display of concentration and adjustable alarm contact outputs.
BACK-LIT DISPLAY
A new option available on the TRACE analyzer
is a light behind the LCD to make operation even more user friendly. |
